There is reason to believe this convention is incorrect. Huttese is not as widely understood as we believed, outside the native-speaking populations in the outer rim. Huttese culture deals very heavily with food consumption: The bigger a Hutt is, as a result of his aggressive food consumption, the more power he is thought to have. In more current times, only large Hutts are ever promoted or alotted any power in the first place.
As a result of their cultural obsession with food, much of the Huttese vernacular appears to be somehow food related, especially to non-native translators. As a result, many Huttese nouns have been mis-translated as food or food related nouns.
Another universal Huttese explative heard often is "Aa Chuba!" It seems to be used a bit more frequently than "Poodoo". However, as yet, the particular meaning of this explative continues to elude even the best of the Republic's linguistic experts.
